Leninism is marked by a religious faith in the cause, terror, and mendacity as a way of life.
Once Communists took power in Russia, they were savvy enough to lie about their criminal methods, but previous Communist thought leaders had no such need of circumspection.
Lenin studied and adored a Russian revolutionary named Nechaev.
Here are some particularly interesting excerpts from Nechaev’s most known work, The Catechism:
“Aiming at implacable revolution, the revolutionary may and frequently must live within society while pretending to be completely different from what he really is, for he must penetrate everywhere[.]”
“For [the revolutionary], morality is everything which contributes to the triumph of the revolution. Immoral and criminal is everything that stands in its way.”
“We must unite with the savage world of the violent criminal, the only true revolutionary in Russia.”
The Catechism makes for very interesting reading. Go through the whole thing, it’s not long.
Now think about Democrat tactics today like: Antifa, Ilhan Omar, calling Trump a Nazi. Many Republicans like to consider these “wins” because Democrats are allegedly outing themselves as insane people.
Sure, I guess, but didn’t Bolsheviks out themselves as insane people too? And they successfully took power and spread their ideology around the world.
Another way of looking at it is that we are seeing a rise in Leninist activities in America. What many perceive as their fumbling stupidity are actually battle proven actions from their celebrated history.
Welcoming their tactics because they may look stupid is a dangerous game to play.
BTW, Ilhan Omar was raised a Leninist.
